Rafting flows on the Arkansas river in Colorado reached 900 cfs today. This looks good for our May 27th Opening day. Snowpack in this drainage is very high and promises a very exciting river season.

The Rio Chama weekend flows continue to be dependable, and agency cooperation with weekend flows make the Rio Chama full day a great bet. Levels on the Rio Chama may run weekdays as well this fall as irrigation demand increases.

Rio Grande flows remain low at a typical mid summer level. We’re starting to see some snow melting a few days upstream, so…

Keep your fingers crossed.
