Employee Biography Intake Form

This information is used to populate guide biographies on the Kokopelli Rafting website.
  • Please use the name you wish to be displayed on your Employee Biography page and Business Card.
  • If "yes" your bio page will have a 'contact me' form. Your email will not be displayed but customers can contact you directly through the form on your bio page. If "no" then no contact form will be on your bio page. Note - The KRA office will receive a copy of the initial email sent through the form.
  • What email address do you want customer communications sent to?
  • Your Venmo ID will be displayed on your profile and/or business cards. If you do not want this displayed, leave this field blank.
  • Please write 2-4 paragraphs about yourself that help describes you as an outdoor industry professional. Other contexts, such as day job, education, how you became interested in the outdoors all help describe how you arrived at Kokopelli as a river guide. Not sure where to begin? What got you hooked on rafting? How long have you been rafting and/or guiding? What other type of work do you do when you're not guiding?
  • Tell us what is your favorite river (or section of the river) and why you like it so much. Please type this in a narrative form, or paragraph, we can copy and paste into your biography.
  • Tell us about your favorite river-related story; this could be an experience guiding commercially that stands out, perhaps an experience that got you hooked on rafting, kayaking, etc.
  • Please type this in a narrative form, or paragraph, we can copy and paste into your biography.
  • Instructor certifications, health/wellness certifications, degrees (specific degrees, majors, minors, etc), notable awards, other related experiences (NOLS, wilderness first aid or first responder, Swiftwater rescue technician, etc). Please type this in a narrative form, or paragraph, we can copy and paste into your biography.
  • Uploading Photos for your Biography

We need specific photos for your biographies. In short, you will need photos that are in the "Landscape" frame. Below you will see two examples of former guides who provided photos in a "portrait" frame. When these photos were cropped, the composition changed significantly.

  • Julia Ferndandez - Flamingo dancing

    Miles Loftin - Ice climbing

  • This photo will be your main biography photo, and should be a close-up shot of your face so that visitors can recognize you. The best files should be hi-res images, not Facebook or Instagram downloads or other compressed files. You may upload more than one photo and we will choose the best for the environmental portrait.
    Drop files here or
Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, tiff, svg.
  • Action shots can be rafting, skiing, kayaking, hiking, climbing, biking, etc. The best files should be hi-res images, not Facebook or Instagram downloads or other compressed files. NOTE - all photos should be in a "Landscape" format, not a "portrait" format (where the frame is horizontal, not vertical). Any 'portrait' image will have to be cropped to fit the website template (see below) which changes the composition significantly, and usually for the worst. You may upload more than one photo and we will choose the best for the environmental portrait.
    Drop files here or
Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, tiff, svg.
