Happy 4th of July!
What a better way to celebrate our country’s independence then with an exciting whitewater trip down one of the nation’s first designated Wild and Scenic Rivers! In 1968, the US Congress voted to protect the Rio Grande due to its outstandingly, remarkable values.
These include its scenery, recreation, geology, fish, wildlife, history, and culture. Our trips through the Taos Box give rafters a first hand experience of all of those remarkable values, while enjoying some great Class IV rapids. This year we are lucky enough to still have outstanding water flows this late into the summer rafting season. Get out there before water levels drop and see what all of the fuss is about!
We have daily departures from Santa Fe, New Mexico and the Rio Grande Visitor Center, just south of Taos, New Mexico. Call our office at 505-983-3734 for more information!
